WHAT'S NEW

Well we were astonished to learn from a good friend that the images on our website were extremely distorted. Due to some software issues, we were seeing the images in a different format and they appeared to be just fine. On the other hand, our visitors were seeing extremely poor, over exposed and in many cases, just awful pictures. If you are returning from recently visiting the Bell Charter Oak online catalog, we suggest that you refresh your web browser and allow the corrected images to load. We apologize to all of you for this technical problem. Our website consultant has been dismissed and we are now preparing all web related materials inhouse. Hopefully this will allow us to keep an eye on and prevent future problems of this sort.

We recently added several new designs for 2004. Several new additions have been made to our dummy gun inventory. They include all of the new Charter Arms 2000 revolvers. Our thanks to Nick Ecker of Charter Arms for his assistance.

You may have noticed that the C.T.U. crossdraw model from our successful Co-Pilot series has disappeared. Not so. We had been developing an improved design that addressed several engineering obstacles. The result is an improved ergonomic profile and subsequently, combining that style with our DOUBLE CROSS model. By modifying the stitching pattern and a few other features, we developed smoother lines and improved comfort for the user. This is often the way it goes with new designs and they continually evolve.

The June 2004 edition of Combat Handguns will feature an article by Bob Arganbright. We built a custom vintage style rig for Bob's "Fitz Special". A whopping Colt New Service in .45 Colt customized by Richard Heinie, to the size of a pocket pistol.

We have removed the custom firefighter helmet fronts and custom badge and accessories pages from our online catalog. Each of those products are being re evaluated for a seperate market.
